The Useless & Excusless

So your Wardrobe consists of a Hoodie, Tracksuit Bottoms and some filthy Trainers. Yes indeed, the ideal outfit in which to turn up for a job interview, which is made even more impressive when you take along a foul-mouthed female with 3 kids - all dressed alike - to try to impress the Staff at your Jobcentre.

The National Statistics look at the Unempolyed numbers, but never look at the number of totally worthless and un-employable piles of excrement that wander our streets. (Dressed as per the above)

My friend just lost his job for the 4th time this year, and simply doesn't want to go to sign on, and be subjected to dreadful "You must apply for this job - or your Benefit will be stopped."

Why can't JobcentrePlus recognise when a claimant is unemployable and no worth to society then award a dreadfully lower benefit handout?

The McEnroe Syndrome

Forgive & forget his silly Headband... Macca's famous quote was spot on at the time - and continues to be so. Not many people in Britain really liked him, because of his his flagrant rantings at Wimbledon.
If paired against Jimmy Connors, I would always side with Mac because I detested JC as a result of his association with Chris Evert. Because, at that time, she was the only girl that proved I did not suffer, prematurely, from ED.

This has nothing to do with Tennis, unless you liken it to the endless ping-pong of phone calls that the unemployed have to endure when dealing with their Benefit provider.

The British Govt are desperate to get people back into work, but when the sparse number of people who do actually secure a new job need a little bit of financial assistance in order to do so, the Govt have ripped their helpful rug from under their feet.

Once upon a time there was a meager payment to help them in this respect. Perhaps a small grant or even an interest-free loan, but the Govt scrapped these at the end of March 2013. Thus, anyone finding a job was expected to wait for at least a month before seeing any money from their employer. Almost 80% of these people turned tail, told the employer they couldn't afford to actually show up for work, and made a rapid re-claim to the Benefit they were receiving, in order to live.

Instead of writing (if they can) to their MP, they end up calling a help line which is of no help whatsoever.
You simply can't help to agree when they say "You CANNOT be serious !!"
